Sandbox Anecdote: I won't give Claude the original PDF. Instead, Claude writes a test script that I run outside the sandbox; it writes the analyzer output to /tmp for Claude to read. 🤖 Use bxsandbox.app to protect your privacy. #claude #sandbox #claudestricks #apple #macos

🙈 🚳 #rs1 #fahrstuhl #mülheim #ruhr #adfc #fahrrad #verkehr rs1.holtwick.de

No more AI yolo on your Mac! 🛡️ AI tools like Claude Code can read, write and delete any file your user can access. bx-mac gives you a native macOS sandbox to restrict any command to just the folders it actually needs. github.com/holtwick/bx-mac #macOS #opensource #security #AI #Apple #mac #privacy

Great article! I enjoyed reading it very much, especially as I'm also working on a file-based system for CRDT sync, which is proving more challenging than I expected ;) receipts-app.com/en/docs

To counter my own “Weltschmerz”, I'm trying to make my contribution by boycotting services that are beneficial to Trump and others who have overstepped the mark. Here is my first article on the topic: holtwick.de/en/blog/unpl... #UnplugTrump #LocalFirst #SelfHosting #OpenSource

This is my take on it for native macOS. It currently uses Swift, Objective-C and CoreData, but mainly for historical reasons. A simple implementation for reading, written in Typescript, can be found at the end of the text receipts-space.com/en/docs Related blog post holtwick.de/en/blog/loca...
