Like I get why Metroid has had such little fanfair from Nintendo for its 40th anniversary. Its not as popular as Mario or Zelda. But like...come on. How many people can claim they have a series thats 40 years old and still running. Feel like it deserves a big celebration as well.

I went to the used game store near me and they still had the copy of Metroid prime pinball I saw last week. I wanted to get it, but I just cant justify getting a game thats not really all that rare for $100. 😭

I was today years old when I realized that the Justin Bailey green hair was actually just the suitless Samus with the Varia suit. I mean, it should have been obvious but for some reason I just never put the 2 together.

I wish I could punch my younger self. Cause holy! Trying to recollect the old Metroid games I sold like an idiot back in the day for a few bucks, is now pretty expensive to buy back 😭 Got Super for a pretty penny & OG Metroid on NES. Looking at Fusion, Zero Mission & OG Metroid II now 🫠

Saw a YouTube video about Lucia Pyroath with some Date a live characters and felt like the video was weird for some reason. Looked at the description and saw "made partially with or entirely with generative AI" PGR deserves better than that. Hell, all art deserves better.

I just hate that I have to be suspicious about every new artist that I stumble upon. No online footprint before July, fully rendered pieces every other day, in full marketing mode? Is it real? Maybe! But I'll always doubt them. I miss when I could just enjoy finding new artists.

Happy 40th anniversary Metroid! One of my fav series! Easily my fav Nintendo IP! Since I don't really draw anymore couldn't do a fun piece so heres my tiny collection. Hopefully one day I'll be able to get the older titles again when I can get consoles to play them. (Need Super Metroid again 😭)

While it was embarrassing that it took 2 days to get to work. I have successfully made my own custom theme with bgm on my modded ps vita! (All the tools are mainly for windows pcs and I use Linux so I had to constantly find programs that played nice with wine 😭) I know, not a PGR post? What!!!!!

New PGR patch is pretty meh honestly. New Alpha is cool but feels weak unless you invest. New mode is another auto battler. Sigh (please go back to the Derived from Matrix formula Kuro 🙏) And really the best upgrade is for Veronica. Her new coating looks great!

Been thinking about the PGR Date A Live collab. Im not the biggest fan of the series but some parts of it I do like. I know everyone is all about Kurumi, but for me if Tohka is not a pullable character & I cant swing around Sandalphon, the collab is a waste of time for me.

How have they not fixed the floating problem during second phase yet? 😑 But now you can be invincible for a bit if you just stand still... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Wonder if its still bugged on PC as well 🤔 (i was playing on mobile for this) Guess No UI fight for this one & doubt they'll add it to Celica class

Found out this game is also going to have a playable Dead Master. Might give it a try even though from what I have seen, I'm not the biggest fan of the combat. But for Black Rock Shooter & Dead Master, at least worth a try I suppose!

So been seeing people do no UI runs on PGR and thought "yea I could never pull that off.....but couldn't hurt to try". Not going to lie. Makes me look better at the game than I am 😂. I see why people do no UI fights (joking, there are many people amazing at this game) (Pt 2 in comments)
