What authority does Glinda have to keep the slippers away from the sister of the deceased? Is Glinda mother to both ‘witches’? Is Glinda ‘God’, The Wicked Witch of the East ‘Jesus’, and ‘The Wicked Witch of the West’, ‘The Devil’?Is the Wizard of Oz a bible story?The Ruby Red Slippers would thereby represent the ‘blood of Christ’. Glinda gives the ‘blood of Christ’ to Dorothy to protect her, after ‘Jesus’ (The Wicked Witch of the East) is crushed by the sins of humanity. Dorothys house and hurricane represent the destruction humankind became. Glinda is able to give the ruby red slippers (blood of Christ) to Dorothy because ‘The Wicked Witch of the East’ (Jesus) is Glindas child.This would explain why the house and the body of ‘The Wicked Witch of the East’ is located somewhere over the rainbow. ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ is heaven. Thats why ‘The Wicked Witch of the West’ (The Devil) has no power there. Water ultimately killed ‘The Wicked Witch of the West’ (The Devil), because Dorothy, protected by, and literally wearing the blood of Christ, (ruby red slippers) turned the water holy, before dousing the witch with it.‘The Devil’, (The Wicked Witch of the West), is also Gods child, but by duality. That means the witches are NOT sisters. Instead, both witches are one and the same. ‘The Devil’ was created when Jesus was born because for every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. When Jesus (The Wicked Witch of the East) died…’The Devil’ had to go too. ‘God’…Glinda, sent Dorothy to balance the universe, ultimately killing ‘The Devil’…(The Wicked Witch of the West) armed with the blood of Christ…the ruby red slippers.This satisfies an idea I had as to why Dorothy would refuse to leave Oz.
