I do hope the Japanese economy gets the boost that it needs, and I’m happy to give it a hoof up if I can.

Ha ha! This was from our adventures earlier this year, but we’ll be heading back in January. Honestly, I respect the Japanese culture (and food… all the food), but parts of it change so rapidly and constantly that there is always new things to see.

❄️Japan 2026 After driving back from our hot spring holiday up in the mountains, @snares.bsky.social introduced me to one of the best refuelling spots I have ever put into my belly. There’s nothing like stuffing your face into a steaming bowl of deliciousness on a winter’s day.

Headed to Bangkok in mid-October for a work retreat. It is going to be my first time properly in Bangkok. The last time I was there, it was only for a layover. Looking forward to experiencing Thai hospitality and just exploring a new country.

The hotel that we stayed at had its own onsen, but we visited another larger facility in the town. There’s also one in a park that we visited some years ago.

❄️Japan 2026 We spotted a meow-meow by the entrance of a shop whilst walking around the back streets of Kusatsu. Let the meow-meows in. They want to be warm.
