I drove across Colorado's Rocky mountains today. There is virtually no snow, and all the ski resorts are closed or about to. March used to be when the heaviest snows hit Colorado, and spring break skiing was busy. This is Vail today. It looks like late May or June.

I receive YouGov surveys, and about once a month I get asked if I think these companies care about keeping kids safe on their platforms (No), if I think Google, Meta, etc. are "on the parents' side," (No), and have I seen ads talking about how they're doing a great job (No). They're nervous.

Frontotemporal dementia patients lose their ability to swallow passively when too much saliva accumulates in their mouth. That's why you often hear him make slurping noises when he's talking and see the spit flying. The good news is he'll likely aspirate something soon and die.
