I know it's just the AFL but why have a scorebug if you're not going to put anything in it? It's the bottom of the second with one out and one on the Saguaros lead 1-0

Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
Persona 5
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

It wasn't a perfect outing, but boy oh boy I've been asking for a splitter and they finally got me a good one!

Daily pitching summary for Tony Gonsolin showing a very good splitter, a pretty good slider a useful fastball, and a terrible curveball (only thrown twice, once for a home run)

They inexplicably don't have R. J. Decker available. Can you believe it?

List of my top 10 shows this century (but it's only 9 because they didn't have R. J. Decker)

Ted Lasso
Psych
Silo
The Afterparty
Blue Exorcist
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

#19 - Slime Rancher Originally assigned as an evening cozy play before bed, I rapidly discovered that it didn't have missions and it did have monsters that would try to eat me. But mostly I discovered I could fall in the ocean and die. Still cute and fun, but short. Bugsnax at home, if you will.

American Ultra What a dumb fun movie. Terrific performances from a few underrated actors (Kristen Stewart, Topher Grace and more) elevated a silly stupid film.

Why do I want to pump the brakes on just giving Jac the first base job next year? (Vinnie is tied for fourth most in MLB) I really wish this went back to Hosmer's day so I could use it to judge his scoops.

The Losers (2010) DC movie. Not good. Did feature a sniper shooting a motorcycle gas tank so that the bike exploded and crashed into a private jet cockpit while the rider flew into the jet engine, blowing everyone up. Chris Evans plays to his non-Captain America type. Very 2010.

Keith Law says Rose is a top 10 bat without a position. I'll take that every damn time. Worse comes to worst, he can be the Designated Hitter.

Rose is an above-average runner who has never settled into a position. He played a little center field this year and I’ve heard it was OK, but in a larger sample in left field he’s been maybe an average defender. The position/defense questions are why I had him 22nd on my board despite his top-10 bat. I really think he’ll hit, but his value goes way up if he can become a 55 defender in a corner.

The Afterparty S1 Apple Does Not Miss I love this take on the idea that everybody has their own version of a story/unreliable narrator murder mystery. It managed to be hilarious and engaging throughout. The red herrings were fantastic.

For contrast, here's what Chris Stratton did last year on his way to a 7.71 ERA. Stratton started in low leverage and then saw himself cut. Estévez WISHES his metrics were this good.

Chris Stratton's pitching metrics from TJ Stats for 2025. He wasn't good, but he did at least generate almost enough whiffs to be interesting.

Hokius (Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter) @hokius.fromthehawkseye.com · 29/03/2026

This is unplayably bad. A pitcher with metrics like these cannot be pitching in high-leverage. I'd hesitate to allow him to pitch in low-leverage.

Number 10 of this year, and number 100 of my Playstation career, Trails Beyond the Horizon. I loved this game with the same fervor that I loved Sky FC and Cold Steel 1. The combat balance is still broken, but the story and side quests were FANTASTIC

I tried to order some new plastic containers from Walmart so I can more easily separate our serving sizes when I cook food. I tried to buy 6 packages containing 2 containers, but apparently I ordered 6 2-packs of 4 containers each. Instead of 12 new containers I have 48.

This meets the second criteria, at least, and the first if you go by User Scores. But it's a tremendous game that bit off more than it could chew and still pulled so much really fun stuff off.
