I've seen/gotten numerous messages of people complaining that they couldn't get kills because of someone's mirage/volt/saryn and it's honestly just kind of wild lol. If I can't be a nuking frame, I'd love to have at least one to make it go faster. if you want kills, just go solo imo

true, but I also mean that people will either 100% kill regardless of mechanics ("kill enemies in this bubble? nah") or will get pissy if you do something like, oh IDK, bring a nuking frame into ESO

I think what really clinches the "I'm ok with a plastic diorama style but this looks weird" vibe for me is that we already HAD a remake with a plastic vibe, though it was more toy visuals than whatever this is. Link's Awakening was remade to look like little toys and I genuinely enjoyed it!

It also doesn't help that this is on Ocarina of Time, which is considered one of the best games in the series and a lot of people's fond memories, so that works against it in a lot of ways.

Yeah, honestly the key art reminds me of dioramas, and I think it *could* work, but there's certain parts of it that look either over designed (link's outfit, like you said) or just have a sort of uncanny valley feel to them, that just doesn't work well imo.

I personally don't like the look of the game so I'm passing on it, which is wild for me considering I've enjoyed just about every one before this (with the exception of Skyward Sword, but that's just because the motion controls irritate the shit out of me)

So today I went "yeah I guess I'll solo Equilibrium, at the very least it'll increase my drop chance of the exotic" - nearly solo flawless, only died twice (once at the very last jump puzzle, once during final encounter cause less damage than I thought) - I GOT THE EXOTIC IN MY SOLO RUN
