Also, consider the Esquire Theater in Clifton. It's an off-week for their fortnightly RHPS midnight screenings, but depending on whether you're sticking around long enough for that, they are screening Castration Movie Anthology in two parts on the 13th and 20th

Cincinnati Museum Center's Omnimax has a dinosaur documentary narrated by Sam Neill playing currently, plus the museum was going to be the terminal for railroad interline operations before that got axed

What if the chartreuse m&m was both more fecund and more potent than either parent, like the hybrid spiders in Arachnaphobia

Apparently when rebarreling a PS90 as an SBR, that one spring that went flying off goes back on in between the new barrel nut and the receiver, not between the barrel and the identical hole at the other end of the receiver. Nearly made like Daffy hunting an errant 'roo.

One of these days, Stephen Miller's gonna show up to work acting professional, speaking like an adult, new barcode tattoo on the back of his head, and someone's going to find seashells on the beach spelling out 2209

No, some of us just already knew that if meaningful changes to our gun laws ever happened, how they'd get enforced would look like how ICE has been doing things. The ethnosupremacists propagandizing their deeds from preschools have fellow travelers in LE. The problem's worse than you know.

Technically, the question of whether Jan 6 was an insurrection or rebellion hadn't been resolved in any court of law by the time of the 2024 election. Less that they discarded XIV S(imagine it's fancy) 3 and more that they dragged their feet on that and relied on "innocent until proven sus."

Mary Anne MacLeod Trump lied in the 1940 census about the state of her naturalization. She "naturalized" in 1942, following this act of perjury. Therefor, we could argue she was an illegal, and that her son Donny was an anchor baby whose citizenship can be questioned, under Rubio's logic.

Need to get caught up on my podcast feed. You know things are bad when your normally "gotta pay for roads and social security" ass is convinced to go full Ayn Rand "park your tax obligations in high yield savings accounts until tax day" by the endorsement of Siri Dahl.

Idk but it's definitely a bad sign when your monarchy is headed by people who have taken pains to avoid seeing and knowing the metaphorical elephant. Case in point, the party backing the monarchy wearing the skin of a republic like the alien from the first Men In Black movie that got George Floyded.

...are there any good quick ways to get into work helping lawyers working for the right side of the law in these troubled times? My qualifications are my dad's a lawyer and my mom's Irish, so I've inherited from both sides a tendency to respond to questions with further uninvited questions.

Nah, his head just did that on its own. Just like JFK and Hemingway. Zooted out from too many peanut butter, onion, and morphine sandwiches.

say what you will about Andrew Tate, but his decision to not have a chin likely saved his life in that fight. Just one of those uppercuts would've killed Bruce Campbell.

Tip: confit your potato chips into like some kind of b-list gratin, that way you're essentially eating mashed potatoes in bed. Do like a lasagna style layering of chips and canned soup. If using condensed, idk whether to recommend adding water first or last.

If you've got the time, it's a really wholesome production, but I still think Chainsawman is a better critique of the failure modes endemic to Chicago-school capitalism. Plus, there's Cosmo. But she comes in next season. Bestgirl, has what every man really wants. (It's Halloween.)

Recent episode of Short Wave covered how ants are like the peak of altruism. Their larvae's immune response against fungal disease includes chemical signals to worker ants saying "KILL ME QUICKLY AND DISSOLVE ME IN ACID"

And in corollary, there are also neurodivergent people who innately feel empathy with extreme precision but are not moved by it, who avoid being correctly diagnosed with autism because social manipulation is their special interest. There's a character in Dungeon Meshi like that, Kabru.

Bizarro Chicago-style Irish Coffee: It's a regular Irish coffee, but served in a tall tumbler made from pressed pie dough lined with pork sausage and cheese, and topped with mustard, onions, relish, pickled peppers, garnished with a pickle spear and celery salt.

Idk what you're talking about, we use it for God's intended purpose: structural aviation components. Ya'll the ones been making due with wood, and somehow out-multi-roling us with the Mosquito like some kind of Madame Butterfly situation. Don't let my wife know I'm into that at all.

...I shouldn't ask, because it would lead to interrogations on wastage. But I feel compelled to ask all the same. Like, how much of your wastage on fresh produce could be feasibly reclaimed in local pickling operations? Only asking because of recent experiments in pickling, not accusing anything.

According to a calculator and my podcast app, listened to 12,360 minutes of BTB in 2025. Unfortunately, my phone's old af and I can't screenshot that statistic, cuz of dead buttons, and that's probably reflecting raw content rather than value after speed adjust. I love you all, other damaged folk.

If we're being super technical, it's because his grandad was Canadian. But was too racist to tolerate the Quebecois. Which, tbf, is kinda valid, but not in a "move to an apartheid state" way. More of in a, "learn Haitian Creole instead out of spite" way.
