I've not done any #battletech before. I like these little guys. #nerdlings

Industrial yellow battletech mec. I dont know what kind, I just enjoy the little plastic robot guys.

The last guy from the back. He got that booty though.

We made it all the way to this preview without any sign of the Warcry news that the last preview said was "coming soon". This slow burn cancellation of the game is silly. Just do it already so I can move on.

The only solution to the mighty boxnaught being retired? What else do you do with a space marine who can no longer serve The Emperor? Put it inside an even larger dreadnought. It might lead to even greater dreadnought size creep, but that's a risk I'm willing to take.

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains.

The album Exile on Coldharbour Lane by Alabama 3. It's sick, you should check it out if you haven't.

Today's effort is The Immortal Hulk for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. If you want a good comic to read, Al Ewing's Immortal Hulk run is one of the best superhero comics ever written. #mcp #marvelcrisisprotocol #nerdlings

A model of the Incredible Hulk, you know big green angry lad, abs for days. Very well painted if I do say myself.

Same guy from the side. He's doing a big ol' leap. Probably off to smash something.

Hulk from the back this time. I don't know what any of these muscles are, but I spent some time highlighting them.

Last night's #battlefleetgothic game. The #Orks were in pursuit of an isolated Hiveship, on some kind of whaling mission; but the #Tyranids sprang an ambush. After crippling a Hiveship and blowing through some escorts, the Orks were forced to disengage. Victory to the Tyranids.

You know what? Sure. Too many past-life people claim to have been a pharaoh, or Alexander the Great's personal twink, or whatever. But "I was some guy who got stabbed," that's fine. Still bollocks, but I can get behind it.

With the different sized skeletons for forced perspective? Ridiculous. Of course they won, how could they not win. Wonderful recreation, and gorgeous in it's own right.

I play Commander pretty exclusively and still enjoy it a lot; but WotC designing specifically for Commander has sucked a lot of the fun out of deckbuilding. I know that's an icy cold take that will anger no-one, so I'll also say that counterspells and tutors are the tools of a coward.

A lovely thread of great artwork. Loaded of course with work by the great Mark Gibbons, who remains the best to ever do it. I've never come across one of the man's pieces, that I didn't immediately fall in love with.

The half painted MESBG Dwarves, the half painted Tyranid BFG fleet, and the half painted Crisis Protocol figures on my painting table, look at each other and sigh deeply. "You too huh? One day he'll finish us." Muffled shouting from boxes all over the room. "No he won't!"

I would love to wake up on Saturday to the announcement that 11th ed 40k was a prank, and reveal an edition that doesn't feel like a chore to play. No more strategems, no more command points, no 300 different detachments all with thier own rules, no more homework, no more hour long turns. Bliss.
