New IML guidelines: - Intl have a much higher chance to get in, this is good. - nice gesture to offer the full pass. - there is no good reason to use a lottery system but at least it avoids us bias. - doing this at MAL gives intl contestants little time to raise money to go. It’s a €3k+ affair.

Remember that time last week when I emailed these people about how people can access stuff on recon because of their lousy security practices and they told me it was fine? Well, that's not the reason I was banned. I was banned for doing the thing they said was fine.

This service cares less about engaging with user concerns and more about silencing any irritations while they peddle a sub-par experience and whittle away excuses. This is serious brand damage in real-time and they will only save face if you pull your subscriptions.

I realise I might be ruffling the feathers of some when I give out about certain services or events in our scene, but I see a lot of harm in the silence others partake in for fear of biting the hand that feeds. Accountability is a very important thing and your influence should not put you above it.

Folsom Europe raised €112k which will be redistributed to club projects alongside charities, from a free streetfair with minimally invasive sponsorships and giving an artist a massive platform each year. Tell me why this can't be achieved by the other largest event in Europe.

I read a very interesting thought this week regarding whether social media is harming our health. Perhaps the problem is, we hardly have social media left at all. We have a bunch of influencer-centric short-form video blasts where being social is a side-feature.

Not sure if this will be my last Folsom, it was good but getting a bit noisy. All of my highlights were in quieter moments which may be signalling that the Black Weekends may be more my vibe. Great to see everyone all the same.
