HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 04/09/2026I’m really sad, he leaves a legend in my book. Reckon he’ll be a fan favourite for years to come xx 010
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Seems a bit more like something to me, but agree very small sample size. Let’s wait and see. 000
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Anyhow, let’s just agree to differ re instant declarations regarding the abilities of a football player and move on. UTA. 010
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026“Fans” was the instructive word not online. And my comment about a season ticket was in response to being asked how many games I attend rather than validation of my opinions If you look at my other comments you’ll see I also highlight an example of stupid comments heard inside the ground. 000
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Yep, full marks! Let’s agree to differ Anyway, fingers crossed for the rest of the season UTA. 010
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026But you did post it online, so you did tacitly invite people to engage with it, and my opinion is that it’s bloody stupid to declare a player as being the answer or not after (checks notes) two bloody games! 100
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026For the avoidance of doubt Keithy I’m a season ticket holder and have been going since the mid 90’s, have a look at my first reply to you. As I mentioned there, there have always been… 100

HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026More than you I expect. Not that that is a great determinant given the absolute nonsense I’ve heard people come out with at the ground. But then, there have always been idiots, I can remember people near me at Highbury claiming, with absolute certainty, that DB10 was useless and “just a sprinter” 100
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Good grief, online football “fans” are bloody stupid. How about you just support the team without declaring that players are world beaters one week and Sunday league the next 🤦♂️ 361
HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 30/08/2026💯 this, it is exhausting having to double check every, bloody, thing, because you’re worried that the sender is in fact a bot/scammer! You are bloody cool though, so please stay on spaces like this, because the alternative is an algorithm that continues to dumb down, (sorry if that’s a bit gushy) 090

HJ @hmtj79.bsky.social · 11/08/2026To all our rivals, keep your grubby mitts off MLS! Myles Lewis-Skelly focused on Arsenal stay despite transfer interest www.nytimes.com/athletic/750...nytimes.comMyles Lewis-Skelly focused on Arsenal stay despite transfer interest (Gift Article)The 19-year-old’s performances have attracted interest from elsewhere, but Lewis-Skelly is happy at Arsenal and is not exploring a move away 000
Reposted by HJLewis @lgambrose.bsky.social · 11/08/2026Myles Lewis-Skelly started a Champions League final for Arsenal less than three months ago, with Martín Zubimendi sat on the bench, and is EIGHT years younger than the next youngest senior midfielder at the club. Wherever the story is coming from, it makes no sense for Arsenal at all. 131746

Reposted by HJAmy Lawrence @amylawrence.bsky.social · 06/07/2026THREE extremely unethical situations at the World Cup require more football stakeholders to challenge wrongs. 1. Banishment of the Somali referee 2. Balogun red card political interference 3. Treatment of Iran team Players/managers/officials/administrators. Pressure on FIFA should be unrelenting. 982683753
Reposted by HJPhil Harrison @mrpmharrison.bsky.social · 05/07/2026I think we all need to be clear about this. Whether or not the Balogun red card was harsh is completely irrelevant. Either the refereeing team's decision is final or it isn't. Clearly it now isn't, so we have a problem. 5953795
Reposted by HJProfessor Mac @bryanmcgovern.bsky.social · 05/07/2026I don't think Balogun deserved the red card, but I also don't like this decision by FIFA. Just as I didn't like the allowance of Ronaldo to skip his ban or the Iranian team having to go back to Mexico after every game. FIFA is corrupt, and the current American government is corrupt. Oh, go Mexico. 1755069736
Reposted by HJJames Benge @jamesbenge.bsky.social · 05/07/2026A scandalous decision, FIFA placing its thumb on the scales of the tournament without even feeling compelled to offer a fig leaf of justification. Borderline red cards happen all the time and plenty of teams with more at stake than the USMNT have to just deal with it. 2433374
