Disabled people deserve healthcare, housing, food and support. They deserve accommodations. They don’t deserve to be treated as “less than” because they can’t work. No one’s worth should be tied to productivity. Only the top 1% benefits from a system that leaves “non productive” people behind.

Small donations move the needle, make it clear that a fundraiser is going somewhere. People are less likely to see stagnant fundraisers. Set aside a little every month, whatever you can afford. Donate often in $1-$10 chunks & challenge folks to match your donation. It's remarkably effective.

I'm so tired of begging to be seen as a human being. Of being worthy of help. I know it makes me sound bitter, but I hate seeing so many people like myself in need and no one doing anything to help us. It's exhausting and disheartening.

This. PLEASE. Just because I'm AMAB and I pass as a man because I choose to grow a beard does not make me any less Nonbinary. People refuse to use my pronouns, misgender me, and flat-out refuse to acknowledge that I am Nonbinary so often both in and out of the queer community. It's exhausting.

My partner is very spontaneous and while I love that about her, I can't be anymore. She decides she wants to take the kids out and I usually can't go because I'm in the middle of a flare or I have to work or both. I miss out on so much all the time. Memories and moments with people I love.

Like I want to run DnD and other TTRPGs for my friends. We plan for a session at least a week out, but sometimes the day arrives, and I'm in too much pain to run or play. I end up feeling like I let everyone down and ruined their day on top of not being able to do something I love.
