Happy Biomedical Science Day 2025 🧪🧫🔬🧬! There is a huge amount that goes on behind the scenes by the laboratory teams to diagnose and treat infections in my specialty of Microbiology. Definitely #AtTheHeartOfHealthcare.

Next on the list: #PubMed An easy target to remove access to evidence, data, expert opinion, analysis, methodology. Unthinkable… but also now highly likely. 😱 These are dangerous times. #MedSky #ScienceMatters #IDSky #NIH

In Liverpool for #FISHIS2024. Deciding on today's sessions after exploring Albert Docks last night. Great sessions yesterday on polymicrobial infections and becoming a change agent in IPC.
A picture of Albert Dock (red brick warehouse) in Liverpool, with a Beatles Submarine made of lights in front of it, viewed from a tree lined alley.
