currently sad about the fact that I'm writing a novel "post-genAI" when it feels like public trust over the written word fades faster than I type. and the job stuff is a whole other, giant loss. I've seen a lot of anger about generative AI, and I think it's hiding a lot of sadness, too.

what's interesting is multi POV can also be done in a pretty standard third limited which is what most fic is written in! so I don't think it'd have to be a hard switch technically but maybe difficult because of unfamiliarity. now I'm in search of an evil second person fic haha

since I've been reading so much, I've noticed how common multiple POV + first person are in fiction. but they're so uncommon in fic from what i see. my only first person fic (the memoir) has several comments from folks who say they almost didn't read because it's not in third!
