Hi Lesley. So sorry to hear some of the others are missing now. It's been pretty quiet here the last few weeks, I guess many are cooking and eating dinner in the new time slot. I'm usually eating dinner myself when the show begins. I don't mind the new time slot though.

Erm, nope! Not my circus,not my monkeys! I'm absolutely staying out of the neighbour dispute bc of my upstairs neighbour's two pomeranians that always bark. I've been VERY large for a LONG time when it comes to those dogs, and she knows it. Don't come to me when other people are complaining!

On a positive note, I'm FINALLY getting curtains in my living room. It's almost 4 years since I renovated (lived here for 20). Tomorrow afternoon I'm getting an in-home-consultation and I'm so looking forward to see what options I've got. I hope to get something light but still with some colour.

Fish is luxury food in DK, especially fresh fish. But I'm trying to eat a lot of it bc it is good when you're eating anti-inflammatory food. Tonight I'm making hake and fried thyme new potatoes and sweet potatoes. Instead of breadcrumbs as coating, I'm using oates. I grinded them a bit first.

I never eat takeaway. I can't remember the last time I did. But tonight, I'm going to treat myself. I'm crap unwell and have been getting my flat ready for a visit tomorrow, so I've got no energy left to cook. Will go for Middle Eastern food like falafels, etc. That's not so bad to eat.
