Time loop—A or B/C depending on the fandom. I’ve found that while I’m kind of mid on it as a fic trope when it’s Groundhog Day teach you a lesson style, I’m very into it in a tragic canon where it’s a time loop trying to stop the tragic thing from happening

Secret identity/mistaken identity Secret identity is a slam dunk A+, I love that shit. I love secret identities when someone doesn’t know and also when one or both parties know but have to act otherwise. Mistaken identity on the other hand…more like a C+ or a B? It kind of depends on the context
