Don't think it's particularly weird if they give you the info. When someone gives me their address, I look it up on Google Streetview and "walk" around the neighborhood, saying things like "nice, separated bike lanes" and "great! properly daylighted intersections with ped-xing bumpouts 👍"

When the film was first shown on network TV in Australia, there were no commercials, and maybe a short break at some point. Pretty sure the station put up a card at the start saying there would be no commercials, and didn't elaborate, because I guess it was obvious.

Some if my colleagues use this type of language when trying to convince me that "AI going Skynet" is current extinction-level danger, as if the AI companies are passive observers. I counter by asking what they'd say if a doctor said "the hospital AI cut off your wife's cancer treatment, sorry 🤷"
