speaking of 30+ sequels... Godzilla versus ROSE BUSH (1989)

Poster for the 1989 film Godzilla vs Biollante. The poster depicts Godzilla inexplicably fighting a giant rose bush. He actually does this in the movie. It rules.

all hail Sanrio's rightful queen FRESH PUNCH

The Sanrio character/object "Fresh Punch," which is a goblet filled with some kind of green punch. Fresh Punch is adorned with a flower, two straws, and a lemon slice. It telekinetically holds an Ace of Hearts playing card and a green-striped candy cane. It also has a box of sodas, because why the hell not? Beneath Fresh Punch is its name, written in a font somehow reminiscent of both 1950s drive-ins and balloon animals.

reading the alt text, I'm now thinking about what movie each of these could be repurposed as a badass fan poster for Bottom left: "Live and Let Die" (1973) Top left: ...hidden in case of (what might be?) a movie spoiler...

Hodag got me feeling like in a different, better world, we would have gotten a sequel to Nights Into Dreams... that crosses over into the Dishonored or Thief Universe

Perhaps not as different, admittedly, as "The Point" (1971) and "The Line" (2023)

If you're kicking it with geometry and want sci-fi films that definitively aren't the same shape: Watch the loopy, wacky thriller "Triangle" (2009) and the criminally underrated death-game "Circle" (2015)
