I'm a bit late for WIP Wed (kind of forgot that was a thing) but I've been working all summer on my first #Yizhan fic. I feel like I'm channeling a lot of corianderbunnies and @chameleonwrites.bsky.social while writing but it can't be helped, they're just so inspirational. 32k /45k words so far 😄💛

You know how someone will tell a story, about how they have no friends, or people always ghost them, or no matter how sincerely they try no one sticks around? And then someone else always comes along and says, quite reasonably, "Maybe the problem is you?" So, yeah. I guess the problem is me.

I wish people realized just how horrible and soulless AI makes your writing sound. How obviously it pervades your work when certain words get overused and certain sentence structures keep showing up. I'd rather have your bad grammar and your run-on sentences any day than slop that invokes nothing.

I have this head canon thanks to the combined keyblade keychain that these two dinkle muffins shared paopu fruit when they were wee little kids and have completely forgotten about it. Also that second image hhhnnnnnnnn 🫦😏😏

Okay. I haven't read many recently published books but I am seriously questioning the low standards society has come to. I got this as a gift and was told it was the best thing they'd ever read and that it hit all my must-haves (even East Asian themed) except it's just a flaming pile of garbage 🙃

One of the most annoying things is when ppl talk about Soriku and point out that the way they act and think about each other isn't the way one would typically act/think about a best friend then some guy writes a novel talking about how him and his male best friend act exactly like Sora and Riku do.

This scene still kills me every time. Riku was preening and posturing so hard--hair flipping, chest out, hands on his hips--in front of his crush. He really could have cared less about Kairi in that moment, he just wanted Sora to look at him. I love cocky KH1 era Riku so much 😍😍

Alright, who's been craving homemade cinnamon rolls this week? It's me. I'm the one that's been craving homemade cinnamon rolls topped with vanilla cream cheese icing this whole week 🤤🤤

Cinnamon roll dough rolled flat and topped with way too much butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

A dozen cut cinnamon rolls in a white baking pan, ready to be proofed before going into the oven.

Freshly baked cinnamon rolls in a white pan, covered with an obscene amount of vanilla cream cheese frosting.

If I can buckle down and focus I MIGHT get the last chapter of Forever out for mermay, but right now I'm sitting on 10k words of SoRiku HS teachers flirting (mostly over text messages) and they are eating my brain SO HARD. Maybe I need to get this out first before I can go back to anything else 😭

Ugh, I didn't know if anyone else is encountering this, but I swear like 15-20% of the new fics I read these days sound like they were mostly or partly written by AI. Some are even recs from feeds I trust and events I've read every year without issue. So I don't know if I'm being paranoid or if...

There's this artist that I enjoy who recently found God and while the new songs are still great, that direction isn't really my preference. So instead, every time they mention something like "His light" or "want to follow you forever" I just imagine it's Sora talking about Riku or vice versa 🤣💙❤️🙏

A digital illustration of Sora and Riku in their Kingdom Hearts 2 outfits without jackets and gloves. Riku’s hair is cut to Dream Drop Distance length. They sit together on a green couch, Sora leaning back against Riku’s chest while holding an open red book and smiling softly. Riku wraps his arms around him, resting his face near Sora’s head with a calm, affectionate expression. Warm yellow light fills the room, with hanging star decorations above and a round window showing a night sky with stars and a distant castle silhouette. A stack of books sits beside the couch, adding to the quiet, cozy atmosphere.

More Nacho AU! in which Sora is turned into a cat and Riku, who is still looking for him, adopts him and sees a drastic improvement in his mental health but can't for the life of him connect the dots.

Two sketches with a rough blue brush. The first has Riku from Kingdom Hearts in a leather jacket and hoodie holding a tabby cat (implied to be Sora), the second is him sleeping with the cat, who is laying right on his face.
