Last week, the AHA welcomed educators to the Library of Congress for the in-person portion of the inaugural Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) Mid-Atlantic and US Territories regional hybrid conference. Participants toured the Library, explored its collections, and connected with fellow educators.

This morning, AHA staff and interns toured the Capitol Visitor Center's semiquincentennial exhibit, "Spirit of '76." Curator Christine Blackerby shared the stories behind the artifacts and explored how the Declaration's meaning has evolved for different groups across US history.

ICYMI: A federal judge ruled in favor of the AHA, @acls1919.bsky.social, & @modernlanguage.bsky.sociall in our lawsuit to restore the NEH. “This decision is a victory … for all Americans,” said AHA exec director Sarah Weicksel. "The humanities provide all of us with essential tools for our future.”
