Finally all recorded songs by my grandparents Uut en Ber Hulsing are available on Spotify. Some of these were modest hits between 1945 - 1950. "Van Jou Heb Ik Niets Meer Gehoord" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and recorded in the Netherlands i.m.o. open.spotify.com/album/29ozxP...

New painting! For the last 8 years our son Dario Hulsing played on a 250 year old violin that was loaned to him by a very generous violinist. To show our gratitude, Dario composed a beautiful solo violin piece and I made an oilpainting for him of the violin itself. Oilpaint on panel 39 x 50 cm

This was one of the most complex images I ever painted. The uniformity of the military tombstones in perspective with all those curves and all. I created a 5-point perspective layout and that haunted me all through the making of this painting. Damn... Oilpaint on canvas - 140 x 85 cm #art #oilpaint
