Watching every movie released in 1987: Walker I really loved this film and have no idea why it's so underrated. Great performances (including Star Trek's René Auberjonois), a relentlessly witty script, and some bold directorial choices from Alex Cox.

Watching every movie released in 1987: Malone It's really hard to maintain attention on a movie when the lead actor is so disinterested. Reynolds seems to spend half the film literally lying down. His hair system is the real star of this movie though. It is a masterpiece.

Watching every movie released in 1987: Dancers An IMDB reviewer said "It's about the dancing not the acting"... but unfortunately not enough of the movie involved dancing & that left a whole lot of time for bad actors to deliver awful dialog. Baryshnikov screaming "Lisa" was extremely Tommy Wiseau.
