The problems come, when art is measured by the same standarts as tv-shows: "too few clicks - that cannot be good" or profit thinking. Art has its value in other categories, but the decision-makers seemingly do not want to see that far too often.

I had a manager for about 10 years starting in the late ninties but he quit for good. Since then I am looking for a new one. There were some but they weren't serios. #contemporarymusic

If you sell your scores only on your website they will be hard to find for people by incident. so any serious publishing house or so I think would be better.

Yes, the point is to be found in the first place. I think there is a difference between recordings and scores. For scores I just can recommend finding a reliable publishing house. Then people who have heard your music can find it but also people who don't know you at all.

... stuff is found better on iTunes &Co I think. There also ar sites like RouteNote and others (CDbaby has a terrible support in my experience, but it still works). Well, lots to do besides the actual work of writing music...😆

Actually I still use soundcloud on my website (here: renehirschfeld.de/media.html ) Maybe now and then one has to renew the widget, when there is a new operating system or so. It ist not too fast, but it works. As with online shops on the website, I tried that, it didn't work for me.

Actually, I have been thinking about this. Not scores, beceause I have a publisher. But recordings. BUT I don't think my kind of music would get much attention there. Do you intent to join bandcamp? Sometimes I think, the time for setting up and "networking" there is spent better in mails and calls?
