An entire sea cannot sink a ship unless the water gets inside of the ship. The same with the negativity of the world: it can’t bring you down unless you let it get inside of you. We cannot control what happens around us, but we can control our reaction to it. May your day be peaceful, my friends. 😊

Sofia #Gubaidulina was one of a kind, an artist in the true, classical sense, that wants to nourish soul and spirit with beauty, not shallow beauty, but beauty in it's true sense: the longing for and knowing of a better world.

A question to all #composer collegues (not mainstream music): Do you have any experience with #managers/ #agencies? I had a manager for about 10 years starting in the late ninties but he quit for good. Since then I am looking for a new one. There were some but they weren't serios. #contemporarymusic

Although #electronic #music is not my primary genre, I have done it now and then. In 2024 the New Chamber #Ballet New York used my work "PI" for its performance of the same name with projected drawings by #artist Korvin Reich. Here is a short trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tReQ...

Just finished "Viel blaue Musik", an #electronic #composition in 4 parts: Tanhûser, #Lohengrin, Drystan, Perceval. The comission was about #Wagner (as you can guess) and #Nietzsche. The ancient spelling refers to early roots of the #myths. Will be premiered in July.
