Such a privilege to visit the Gardens of Peace Muslim cemetery in Havering. But like the rest of London, this cemetery is rapidly running out of space. I'm calling on the Mayor to do better and have a plan to tackle this looming crisis of burial space in London.

What's in a name? Apparently nothing when it comes to TfL's new Sustainable Access Measure, which doesn’t include cycling – sustainable transport – or measure if those journeys are actually accessible. So I asked TfL when they plan to change it..."No timescale".

There are serious concerns about Palantir's involvement with grave human rights abuses. Now the litigious tech giant is also suing the Mayor's Office for Police and Crime. Today we fought for the London Assembly to agree we should keep Palantir out of our NHS and out of the Met Police.

Across London, car and bike meet ups are causing so much distress to residents. That's why the Liberal Democrats have written today to the Met, asking for an update on what they are doing to tackle the problem and whether they have the resources they need.

Page one of a letter from London Assembly Liberal Democrats Hina Bokhari AM and Gareth Roberts AM to Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley, dated 4 September 2026, titled “Tackling dangerous and anti-social car and bike meets in London”. The letter raises concerns about organised car and motorbike meets, including weekly gatherings in Alperton involving dangerous riding, excessive engine revving and littering. It welcomes recent Met enforcement action, including the seizure of 90 vehicles in Hyde Park and Kensington and Chelsea, and asks what operational activity is taking place across London and how strengthened Section 59 vehicle-seizure powers are being used.

Page two of the London Assembly Liberal Democrats’ letter to Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley about dangerous and anti-social car and bike meets. It asks whether the Met is systematically using residents’ video footage, CCTV and ANPR; how it is tackling cloned or false number plates; what support is being given to boroughs seeking High Court injunctions; and whether the removal of dedicated anti-social behaviour officer roles has reduced specialist capacity.
