It was the Army Corps of Engineers who fulfilled his ludicrous demand to release water from the two federally controlled reservoirs. Never heard as to whether there was any “discussion” but since it’s under DoD… not likely.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

There’s also the little thing about a history of humans rights violations in El Salvadorian jails (beatings, torture, deaths…). Jail is no picnic but sending folks there seems to a be a mighty convenient way to have them disappear.
