Again it is just before 7am and I’m awake without an alarm. This is confusing. I’m falling asleep early and waking up at about 6.5 hours of sleep. Usually my minimum is 7hours. Usually exercise makes me want 9 hours of sleep.

Also I think I’ve been applying spf 50 to my face so I can use the pool longer but it didn’t occur to me that maybe that also meant I needed at least a lower spf or hat for my walk today. Feeling a touch burnt now.

3 designs for different people to the printer this week, 2 more designs completed & approved. An entire new marketing deck done in 24 hrs that booked 3 conference events for DL. & started in a small vodka brand design that I need to finish for labels to go to gov approval (ttb cola.) Lots to do…

I'm also beginning to think that the reason social media works so well is that people can't build websites ... More great interviews on podcasts w/ excellent content, ok socials. But the websites are ... 1 aesthetically PRETTY but completely lacking the personality I heard in the podcast.

Just found out today that checkboxes don't convert on my google backups. I knew to avoid smartchips and some other things that don't back up properly but now I'm annoyed that checkboxes and what was checked are just gone in my backups...

I’m still thinking about this Chimichurri pork situation from dinner last night… It was delicious. Grew the parsley here, grilled pork Saturday and reheated Sunday. Side of leftover ramen noodles with sauce and a tomato feta salad. 🤤

Your entertainment for the evening - had a frog on the window earlier but the best photo I took was also the one with my phone in the reflection. I kinda like that the frog looks like it’s trapped in my phone case. Also reminds me of double exposures.

One thing I continue to see missing in many atproto discussions is some of the things businesses need. Example: I see website builders but I haven't seen permission-ed logins for multiple people to access them. Ways for a publication to have mult authors & the journalists to also own their content.

The hydroponic Bok Choy was having some issues (select dry leaves due to the attempt at the mason jar) but was still ok enough to harvest for ramen.

Who here uses both Obsidian and Alfred? Do you have any workflows or plugins I should know about? I haven't done a deep dive on Obsidian plugins for advanced search yet and it occurred to me that using Alfred might make sense. But also open to Obsidian plugins folks use.

Reasons to make a copy of important content out of AI. I was just trying to put things in project folders and clear out a LOT of random junk and it's not happy with me for trying. Honestly I've been Obsidian-pilled & I'm using it like a giant cross-platform braindump / backup.
