One of the great things about heirloom pumpkin seeds is you can save the seeds and they grow the same as the pumpkin they came from. In this way, seeds travel all over the world to find new homes on new continents. #delaware #familyfarm #farmlife #pumpkins #growyourfood

More fruit trees? Yes, because we need to replace the old ones and expand particular crops by planting new ones. Our customers love our persimmons as much as we do, so more trees have been planted. #farmlife #familyfarm #delaware #communitysupportedagriculture #garden

Are there any peanuts in this pumpkin? No! It’s just a nickname given because of the bumpy appearance. The Galeux d’Eysines is notable for its unique appearance that looks as if it’s covered by peanut shells. #delaware #garden #familyfarm #farmlife

How to keep squirrels from eating your pumpkins? 1. Use a hot pepper spray. Some squirrels seem to like spicy food, so this does not work on them. 2. Use a barrier, such as a row cover or sheet. Cover each night, weigh the ends down, so it doesn’t blow away. #farmlife #familyfarm #delaware
