Update on my cat. Shes cleared for surgery, the cancer isn't in her lungs yet. The surgery is gonna cost way more than the first quote. I am still in the Vgen mines and closing out the last of my comms right now if anyone needs any art. vgen.co/Superkiak

I can't believe what a sleeper hit Galactic Racer has been for me so far especially considering I don't really like Star Wars all that much

Castlevania fans are largely the same kind of annoying that Mega Man fans are in that they like one specific game in the series and if you do anything different in new games they fucking crucify you

I cmmssioned a popular Fire Emblem artist like right before Fortune's Weave released I don't know why I did that I'm not seeing that art for years bro

I'm like 15 minutes in and it's pretty Chinese right now but I'm guessing that probably changes soon lol

Playing Wo Long and FE Fortune's Weave today because I'm at a very Chinese point in my life rn

That era where every single artist on a festival lineup was playing Boss Mode kinda whipped ngl

A Skrillex-esque comeback for Knife Party could fix me I think

It's crazy to me how many people still complain about the shotgun in Gears like bro the series is 20 years old I think we're pretty locked in on how it plays by now

100

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

I don't even remember why I called it that

000

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

I truly realized how completely unintelligible my discord server is when someone new asked where to link something and I had to explain "submarine-discussion" is actually our standard text chat

100

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Yeah it's super weird lmao gears 1 did have it and honestly a lot of players prefer it but it just feels weird to me

000

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I get the "going back to gears 1 roots" with center aiming but like 70% of the series uses barrel aiming at this point lol also the movement and controls have changed so drastically that this doesn't feel like roots anyway it feels new but in a good way!

110

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

E-Day is a blast so far but ping has varied wildly between games for me so I hope that gets sorted. I'm also not entirely sold on going back to center aiming? It's fucking with my muscle memory real bad lol plus it seems a little busted with the slide

like man i get that Analogue isn't the greatest but literally nobody in the FPGA space is doing it like them tbh closest is Taki with the SuperStation but even that leaves some things to be desired

000

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

its crazy to me how much hype the m64 is getting when it looks ugly, runs worse than N64 and A3D, shaders look terrible, and the controller is 3-4x the price of an N64 or A3D controller lol and on top of ALL of that your money is going to fucking palmer luckey of all people

Thinking about it after that VR set and man peak Disciple really was the most fun point in dubstep imo the compilations with tons of collabs were sick, the mega collabs were gimmicky fun, and Disciple Takeovers were some of my favorite shows. Not even NSD was doing it like them for a bit tbh

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I tried Apex again but honestly I've always hated the battle royale setup and I hate it even more now that Marathon is just a better version of it

100

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I really wish there was a solid arena-ish fps that isn't CoD or Battlefield tbh I was treating Marathon like that in s1 but the s2 free kits are so ass and the econ is so juiced it makes it very hard to free kit which means I kinda have to try if I don't wanna lose my stuff lol

100

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Oh yeah people are ass in quickplay and unranked lol I've gotten a few aces and I haven't played in like 6 or 7 years either. I think we just got a lot of sweats bc my cousin is decent ranked and I queued with him

000

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Played R6 ranked with someone named "RIP I SUCK" and they did indeed suck and they still did better than me

Alizae 💫 @hierarchic.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

I'm still making my way through 13 Sentinels and it doesn't happen often but it's such a fun detail that when characters learn new words it pops up misspelled in their thought cloud lol
