I don’t know what ground crew fuckery is happening at O’Hare right now. 1st delay: parked a plane at the gate and had no one to come get it for 45 minutes. We boarded and despite being RIGHT NEXT to where there were filling the de-icing trucks, we were ignored for 2.5 hours. Still at the gate, BTW.

Leaving a hotel bar in the Meatpacking District, we got in an elevator. It stopped on the next floor down and Mickey Rourke got in. Instead of turning to face the door, he stayed facing me for the whole ride down. When it stopped, he stepped out backward and walked away.

While I’ve been sick, I started rewatching Elementary from the beginning. I don’t know why I haven’t done this before. This show is so, so good and truly one of the best, if not the best (yes, I am saying it) modern adaptations of Sherlock Holmes.

I really, really, REALLY hate having a cough. I'm one of those people who doesn't just cough quietly once. It's a solid 20 - 60 seconds of ugly, chest rattling, I'm-hacking-up-a-demon coughing. My throat feel like I've swallowed glass and my voice sounds like I've been sucking cigs since I was 10.
