I had a weird hunch somehow. Their statement over on the Discord did confuse me a bit. The wording "to reinterpret and redraw in-game snapshot images" got me very confused. Does that mean they take an in-game screenshot and run it through the LLMs or...?

Just saw their Steam page, that's a shame. Especially since they like to put emphasize in creativity (or maybe because of it?) I suspect language barrier might be a factor here, but I can only interpret is as they use in-game screenshot to generate images too. And I don't want to support that.

two cents to the high seas discourse: art is not fast moving. but media platform (i.e. publishers etc) treat it as is. art will still be relevant even far into the future. the importance of it is being perceived and preserved, then balance it with the economics. not the opposite

Good control support are important for games. No doubt. Just sussing on any players cheating just because it's not what the average player did, when the reality it is the only way to some people even able to play your game While the game is fun, it's still a shame~

mind you AHK also the thing that can made PC more accessible to control for people with disability. And with no controller support at all?? sure it's meant to be mobile-first, but imagine controlling the game using 13 inch tablet with no controller (yes, I did that. It's painful)

"Oh why are you using AHK, it's like you plan to cheat in the first place" I ran AHK to control stream and most basic key control (F13-F24). This is the first game I experienced this issue so bad I could not connect to my account on PC at all

The concept of blocking player with AutoHotkey running while the game would not let you change the keybind in game is beyond baffling Heartopia is fun but my god how inaccessible it is

This might come too harshly, but here's the key point to highlight: - The platform doesn't matter. All have pros and cons, and it'll fluctuate over times and stuff. Good for those who finally made the move, but just outright abandoning one isn't a, reliable and viable option.

More on this actually. With you having your own website that you can control, you can poison AI, scrapers, and LLM theoretically Tom Scott did have this in his site and it works quite well. Or if it's an image, I know there are function in JS that could prevent saving img with right clicking-save

I seen lots of artist doing this, then blaming on the platform, its moderation, and so forth but themselves. When the real problem is just them not made up their mind and be consistent for once. Platform doesn't matter if all you banking on are just the algorithm to pick you on once in a blue moon
