I’m a 30yr old artist living in the middle of America. If all around me is a field; why not be a wildflower.

Here is my next ghoul! Speaking of ghouls, It’s Ghoulia Yelps!! She’s not exactly drawn in the same style as the others but I love her and I love her aloof expression. She’s one of my favorite monsters! #MonsterHigh
My favorite parts about this photo are her worm earrings 🪱🪱and brain 🧠 headband. She was a blast to draw!

Here is the next ghoul in my #MonsterHigh series! Personally one of my favorites, it’s Frankie Stein!
I like using notebook paper because of how smooth it is, my colored pencils blend seamlessly. How *shockingly* vibrant!

So, I have a small collection of Monster High dolls, and was itching to bust out my colored pencils, so I decided to draw Abby Bominable! She’s the first in a series I’ve been working on for a while now of the ghouls! More to come! #MonsterHigh
Don’t mind the erased sketch down below, I decided halfway to just keep it a bust. I had a lot of fun drawing her though!

I felt so inspired after reading “Between Two Fires” by @buehlmeister.bsky.social that I just *had* to draw a picture of Sir Thomas. I hope you like it!!
A sketch of what Sir Thomas de Givras looked like in my head based on his description in the novel. (I had drawn his straw hat, but I lost the device I drew it on. So this was the only sketch I had saved.)
The chain mail was certainly something to draw 😅

I used to identify with fallen angels a lot.
A fallen angel, shackled and hiding their face in shame. What once was a being of light, is now only surrounded by the darkness of their sins.

I had a dream about a Chinese dragon once, it was an incredible. So I started drawing more Asian dragons and I realized how fun (albeit tedious) they are! Though, this sketch never was finished. The quality of the paper started to disintegrate as I was drawing.
A 5 fingered Chinese dragon cradling a flaming pearl.

Sometimes I dabble in comics. So here is my interpretation of a chapter from one of my guilty pleasures- Lore Olympus. (Don’t judge me 😅) It was incredibly fun to draw, and I think the results came out incredibly fun to look at!
The skeleton of a forsaken warrior reaching through the comic panels to grab Kore’s throat, but is being gagged by a tree growing through his bones.A close up of the Dead gathering at Hades’ call. The full page!
Hades is frantically searching for Kore who is lost in Tartarus only finding her as she is being grabbed by the shade of a deceased warrior, growing a tree to save herself until Hades found her.

When Guillermo del Toro’s 2025 Frankenstein came out I became so infatuated that I drew nothing but the creature for a solid week. Here is one of my studies of him. I need to draw him again now that I think about it 🤔
The sketch of the creature, he looks quite sad and confused but slightly hopeful? The rendered version, his expression has lost that look of innocence and hope that his sketch had, but he looks far more realistic.

I drew this one recently as a birthday gift for my husband. He likes pin-ups, and he likes zombies. So I thought “¿Por que no los dos?” 😅🤭

Another super old piece I made back in high school when I was around 16-17. I took this with me on a field trip to a local college and won a ribbon! I can still remember the feeling of being shocked that I won over one of the other incredibly talented artists in my class.
This was made on a scratch board, and is a portrait of my old chihuahua, who was around 12 years old at the time. I especially love the twinkle in her big round eyes.
I miss my little mocha ☕️

This is a piece I did all the way back in 2013 when I was 17. I went on a school field trip to the “Plaza” in KCMO. There is a reason we are called the city of fountains in the US.
I used white charcoal on black paper, trying my hardest not to smudge anything. I had to wear latex gloves 😭 The fountain I used for a reference. She has a twin on the opposite side of the pool. Can you believe that these statues are reported to be more than 300 years old? My school wanted me to censor my art for an art show, when the statue I drew is so old and in public view? I declined.

Oops.. My hand slipped 🤭
My rendition of this beautiful amethyst intaglio of Medusa. It was too beautiful not to draw. Using prismacolor pencils to help achieve this crazy blend of colors. I really hope I could capture that ghostly appearance.
