"Hello, anyone here?" Surely any true fan of horror smiles when they hear that line! Camp Miasma, a place that even GPS struggles to find, even though it's right there FFS. I love it! Also, I am gay for Gillian Anderson.

He was in their squad, a team of 22 or so of the best players Ireland has. He was in there, but he said no.

Burnham will have to do something soon, to change the law. We should be doing this, both of us, but I'm too scared that I won't get my disclosure for my job to continue. They know this. Criminallising people like this is insane.

He's put himself in a difficult situation. If he's not picked is it because of this, if he is then does he deserve it. So it goes. Rebels choose another path.

It is. I was immediately thinking, why now? Why not earlier? But it feels right now. Everyone earlier would have been ideal, but in political terms, in "a new Prime Minister is going to have to listen" terms, this is good

Gavin Bazunu is a brave human. We'll need more brave humans immediately.

It feels well timed. I don't know why, really, but during far right blackshirt activity this feels good. Massive Attack obviously have always been sound and aware of timing and rhythm.

This is it. Getting worse as you try better! I think of the experiments I did in the nineties and they were rough but so fun and imaginative. I'd love a bit of that back. Yeah, metal tapes ideally and if at all possible TDK! Loved me a TDK tape!

Memory is a material phenomenon perhaps? Or at least the sort of memory we consciously acknowledge. Beyond that, deeper, is the memory that we're essentially one. Our world increasingly makes it harder to recall this, rampant individualism and materialism seems impossible to repel. But try we must!

To be generous I imagine that's a moral dilemma for them, and some may be feeling a degree of torment about it, but you simply don't validate or appease fascists. They'll eat you alive. Labour aren't made of stuff stern enough to deal with this.

They want power in a corrupt and diseased system, and this division and scapegoating serves Labour too. They have no answers, no courage. They rule with their backs to the people, just as the Tories do, just as Reform would.
110
Person 23 @hibernaculum.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
They support this, not perhaps even all that consciously - although I'm being generous - because it distracts from their unwillingness to actually tackle the root causes of our problems. The scapegoat serves them all until they grow spine enough to tackle neoliberalism, for example a significant eg.

Well yes! What's the Tascam? Many years ago I used their reel to reels with time codes to synch the synths, and that was fun (it was a pain in the arse) but fun (actually yes, because I am nerd). Cue memories of splicing tapes with a razor blade so you didn't miss a beat! Halcyon days!

Listen mate, I know, I know, I've felt the pull already and I'm already feeling the limitations of the Minilogue, as lovely as it is. The Lyra, I know already, is my spirit synthesiser and we are deeply in love because she is mysterious and aloof and I am slightly scared of her.

And before there were English people... there weren't. England didn't exist at one point and then they were essentially informed they were now English, because it's an arbitrary label that, while not meaningless, isn't immutable or eternal.

I've been on Instagram a lot recently and the comments on various posts about this are unbelievably toxic. Mostly bots but with enough real humans mixed in for it to be - yes - genuinely heartbreaking. This dehumanisation is exactly what fed into the rise of the Nazis. It's no different.

I wonder, thinking of Kali Malone, Arkbro, and Pauline Oliveros, who I was listening to the other day - is there something inherently feminine about this particular strand of drone music?

I don't doubt it, it wasn't so much a serious case as it was persecution of someone who'd done her no harm but was actively helping others in need.

We are, and to my mind that almost insists on a level of forgiveness for people who harm us, even monsters like Trump. They were all created, he has no access to the beauty of love and behaves accordingly, but this was not his choice. Of course that does not mean we should let him away with a thing.

Talk To Me! That's one of the best horror films I've seen in ages! Takes what seems like an average horror premise and takes it into such a weird, trippy place, but in such a mundane setting. Genius stuff!
