Nearly 4.5 years in, Russia holds less land than it did 3 weeks into the war. Moscow is 0/23 on capturing regional capitals, suffering 1.5 million casualties for almost nothing. Putin will never volunteer to surrender. Europe must immediately fund massive quantities of drones to force his hand

CANADA! Tour starts on July 3rd! www.thelongestjohns.com/live #TheLongestJohns #Canada #UKFolkMusic #LiveMusic

A repurposing of the 'What About Very Old Friends?' meme format that hasn't done the rounds for a while. It shows three images (one edited) from The Fellowship of the Ring. Firstly a shot of Bilbo's front door shown over the shoulder of a wizard in grey robes, captioned "No thank you, we don't want nay more visitors, well-wishers, or distant relations!"
The second image is a reverse shot showing what would be the wizard's face, but instead there is a map showing a red line crossing from the Atlantic Ocean, into the Arctic Ocean between Greenland and Baffin Island, taking a bit of a wandering path across the north of Canada round Victoria Island, before off up again through the Arctic around Alaska into the Baring Sea. It is captioned as if speaking "What about one warm line, through a land so wild and savage?"
The third image shows Bilbo bursting through his front door, arms wide, and shouting "Standalf!"

A tour poster showing upcoming dates for the TLJ Canada tour. It shows the Ends of the Earth cartoon artwork (depicting a tropical island on the back of a giant crocodile, strewn with various other animals such as hippos, snakes, and manatees, and towering rickety structures as signs of habitation). There is also text saying "EXTRA DATES ADDED"

To understand the sheer scale of the war in Ukraine, consider this staggering fact: According to the highest estimate, more people died in Mariupol during the first 100 days of the invasion than in the entire war in Gaza, even though Gaza had five times Mariupol’s population

It is absolutely insane that Russia is actively helping Iran target and kill American troops, and Trump’s response is to lift sanctions on Russian and Iranian oil. This amounts to handing billions to our enemies as a twisted thank you, which is both weak and treasonous

"£52,645 pledged of the £50,000 goal. 924 backers. 29 days to go."
Above its head is a green Kickstarter banner saying 'Just funded'. Once again I have to give time to say just how good the artwork is for this album, the detail is incredible and the personality on the expressions of each of the animals is so good.

A picture of TLJ sound-checking on the stage for the Radio 3 In Tune Christmas Special. The colouring is largely tones of red. A very yellow picture of the band having a more relaxed time on some comfy grey sofas, where some kind of stone sculpture can be seen behind them, then high up above is a lot of text in Latin that your humble alt-texter is not equipped to read or translate.
