A couple taildropper slugs seen in the Tillamook forest yesterday

Western Sheep Moth with the most glamorous looking fuzzy coat. Hart Mountain - Lake County, Oregon

A Western Sheep Moth perched on a blade of grass. It's wings are patterned with black and a pale pinish purple with some orange at the end. It's eyes are furry and lavendar. The rest of it's head is fuzzy and orange.

Acmon Blue butterfly seen at Smith & Bybee Lakes on Friday. First record of one in Portland and only the third for Multnomah County. #wildlife #butterflies

A pale colored butterfly perched ona plant. It has black and white striped antennae and nurmours black dots on its wings. There are five orange dots at the bottom back part of its wongs. When the wings are open they are an incredible pale blue.

We spent 4 days building a fence to keep cattle out of this valley. It's the very first step in a multi- year restoration project restoring the riparian area around the stream to bring the beavers back.
