The deliberate move to misread the character and to fish out anything (however untrue) that might work as a tool for ‘reinterpretation’ for those interested in it, is, honestly, baffling. I get one might not like the character or detest some ships ideas, but this is a bit too far on the mental side.

Why is anyone’s confusion regarding the matters of the heart perceived as smth unworthy or bad or dishonest towards anyone? Aren’t people supposed to grow, to change, or to develop other views and traits? For all there is, I never saw Talanah willing to help out Amadis to find the closure he needed

Delved deeper into the arcane’s meanings, and so far I think the Hanged Man could work well with Avad: it symbolizes the readiness to make a sacrifice for the sake of smth better (& not always the well-thought better aka put little Itamen on the throne).

Mmhhmm not exactly the arcanum (or is it?), but what about a juxtaposition of character X with character Y like one is the front face of the card and the other one is X’s [dark?] foil? The easiest example is Nil being Death/Hades/Travis of their group/Erik Visser the banana killer who couldn’t stop
