I’ve been away from Bluesky for a hot minute, but jumping back on to see if there is anything planned for Bunker Hill Day with respect to the interpretive signs on the chopping block. Any standouts/teach-ins/other guerrilla history gatherings planned? Would love to join in! #BunkerHillDay2026

This one is going to be extra special because it’s my daughter’s first DMB concert - I even made her a sign to hold and take pictures in front of the big tree outside our house like we do for the first day of school 🤣🤣🤣

For the past 6+ months, I have been sifting through Cambridge newspapers, reading about East Cambridge (our focus neighborhood for this year). It's been fascinating to see how the neighborhood has grown and evolved over the past two centuries, and has reinforced for me just how important (cont'd)

It's restoring a bit of my faith in humanity that the public is pushing back on this ridiculousness. NPS staff are incredible folks who spend a tremendous amount of time and energy planning how to best present America's diverse history to as wide an audience as possible. www.npr.org/2025/06/26/n...

Asked to flag 'negative' National Park content, visitors gave their own 2 cents instead
Signs installed earlier in National Parks earlier in June asked for feedback on signs "that are negative about past or living Americans." Comments viewed by NPR didn't provide the requested feedback.

Happy Juneteenth! Join us this Sunday to celebrate and honor those who endured enslavement and seized freedom in Cambridge. I'll be repping History Cambridge alongside a number of other local orgs to share how Black Cantabrigians were and are crucial to the rich history of the city ❤️💛💚🤎🖤

Getting ready to march in today's Boston Pride Parade with the Episcopal Diocese of MA! So proud of my church for standing up for equality, belonging, and human dignity. As former Presiding Bishop Michael Curry always says, "If it's not about love, it's not about God." 🌈

Dismantling the Department of Education has nothing to do with improving outcomes for our kids, it’s simply about taking away resources from our public schools.

Agree with this 100%. Universities "need to be far more proactive in communicating the enormous contributions they make to the public good: a campaign not just to defend themselves but to remind the country that our universities are among our most crucial assets."
