You need to take one, rather than just expecting them to be able to read your mind and know how you're feeling... you're entitled to use them ❤️

We all know who the biggest, dumbest dog is though, huh

I've tried to do this several times but the choice paralysis always ends up becoming too much and I never really get anywhere with it, haha. So, instead, I've just tried to do it as quickly as I can and put in what first springs to mind! I think it's a pretty accurate grid to describe my taste

I had to do a double take when I read this (the zoo is only down the road from us haha) but I hope you had a really nice, enjoyable time

I’ve debated changing my handle on here for months and decided that today (whilst I’m not really doing anything) is a great day to finally get around to doing it So yeah, @herschel.dog is now a thing! (sorry burr)

Finally, a day off work. I've not been feeling great this past few days, maybe I'll watch YT and have a nap

The Blackhawks might be awful so far this season but at least the Bears seem to (mostly) know how to win (I mean it was against the Jets but eh)

(I have cursed this team by buying a jersey with my fursona name on the back of it)

Me immediately checking the hockey score for last night after waking up

My most played for the last week. I listened to a LOT of REM, Depeche Mode and the new M83 album, haha

Today has been a “listen to R.E.M. a lot day” and that’s a pretty good day in my book

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 30/09/2026

That’s an amazing looking burr! ❤️

I’ve never heard of this game before (but remember THE DOG as a franchise/thing being pretty popular in the early 00s) so it’s nice to hear it’s an emotional and entertaining game. I will give the sausage a bit of extra fuss tonight!

It started last night and they lost :(

I forgot it came out last week but I’m sort of in love with the new M83 album… (to the point that it might have to be an unexpected purchase)

We’ve dropped my sister and her partner off after staying with us so they can make the long journey back to Canada and I feel a bit empty. It’s been a quite enjoyable time with them here and it’s a shame they live so far away from us (and also a shame I’m back at work on Tuesday too, boo)

"Is it ready?" "I don't think..." "Did I hear it's ready??" "... let me check..." Mustelids are not the most patient creatures on earth. -- I feel like using traditional media again lately. I guess I needed a change.

I loved Lost Planet… never heard of this though!

My most played for the past week. I still managed to listen to enough to populate a 5x5 grid, despite having less time to listen to stuff, which is a cool surprise! (less good is the fact the grid generator I normally use wouldn’t download some of the album covers, but eh, whatever!)

There’s no way, you’d inhale it immediately before I even have a sniff… in any form

Ahhhh, thank you! *wags uncontrollably*

A brilliant album (and enjoyable accompanying ramble too!) I’ve been listening to Black Celebration a lot recently, which is an album I hold just as dearly as this one

I’m not usually one for doing stuff like this, but… I’m curious what thoughts people may have of the new boofer!

I hope they release one of those updated versions of Five (like they did with Ritual and Big TV) that has the V2 songs on… Hurt My Heart should have been on the actual album! I think my favourite is a tie between Friends, Five and As I Try Not To Fall Apart, but honestly? They’re all pretty great!

That’s so cool! What’s your favourite album by them? 👀

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 18/09/2026

The new Beck album is very, very good. This makes me very, very happy

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 18/09/2026

Yesssssssss (I still can’t decide if I should be calling you Matsi or Haydo now btw, hahaha)

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 18/09/2026

(me to Haydo on a regular basis)

Oh my god, dude, stroke the white stripe on the bridge of my nose, please dude

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 18/09/2026

Oh really? That’s really cool! I’m probably going to check out that early recordings collection that was released today at some point this afternoon, although I’ve heard pretty mixed/middling things about it… but we’ll see! (totally agree with you on the 1993 and beyond comment btw!)

000

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 18/09/2026

Haha, definitely a bit of a mixture of stuff this week! I’ve been slowly listening to post “Let’s Dance” Bowie (mostly 2000’s so far) at work over the past few weeks and was actually going to put “Black Tie, White Noise” on this week but someone bought it before I could! Maybe next week…

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 18/09/2026

My most played for this past week. I listened to a LOT of Pinegrove, haha

The NFL is back (and the Bears are as chaotic as ever)

Ahhh, I thought I’d not seen you post in ages!

I really liked Soul Blade, even with all it’s quirks (and even though the young Sega fanboy inside me would be screaming at me for saying that, haha)

100

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

It’s weird how the mind works. Maybe everything will be alright after all

010

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

Today is the first time in forever where I’ve been able to listen to “Pinegrove - Skylight” without it making me feel awful. I’m not one for posting lyrics, but eh… “I climb through the skylight, whatever you're feeling is all right. Let you let go, whatever you're feeling is natural”

100

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

Haha, I love that! I hope you revisit them one day, I’d be super curious to hear what you think/how you feel about them these days (sorry for the double reply, I’m totally not writing these when I should be working and making lots of typos, haha!)

010

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

They’re definitely worth revisiting! I’ve never really stopped being a huge fan of JJ72 and often feel sad we never got more than two albums from them, heh. The first album means a lot to me, so many amazing songs, but I love the second one too… it’s just a shame the never finished/released a third

100

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

I really don’t know what to make of the new Bloc Party album

000

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

(and it’s right in the middle of the grid too, haha)

000

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

Definitely, it’s so good! I went on a bit of a Pinegrove spree this week, haha

000

Herschel 🐶 & Horo 🐻 @herschel.dog · 11/09/2026

I knew you’d reply with this, hahaha
