I got RunRev up and running with Duo changes last night and I added a haunting theme (with a little ghost that shows up in random places to spook you). It's looking better than it was before. #running #iosdev #indiedev #duo

iphone duo screenshot of runrev, using orangey colors since it's october

Come on this is so cool. Live map of airplanes in the area. Passive display is cool. This makes me want an e-ink display to play with tbh.

I bought an old Spotify Car Thing for like $15 when it was getting discontinued years ago. It then got discontinued and I have had this brick by my desk since. Today I had Claude to help me make it into a little touch screen companion for me and I'm chuffed.

If you’re a runner or like activities + running can you come review my new 4.0 version of RunRev? I have lots of new features. Apple Watch integration. Many new graphs. Training plans. Widgets!

Seven segment display partially died in my tower fan. I think it’s unhappy with me.

Yearly(ish, sometimes I forget) post about Rosie because she turned 11 or 77 today depending on your belief system. And as always we went on a hike. #rosiecandids #schnauzer

The awards you get for the game are also really fun. For example, today I got the clean plate club award for using all the letters 5 times before the game ended (thanks to the word lull 😅).

I’ve been having a lot of fun with @hankgreen.bsky.social’s new games. 4x3 first. But smush is also really fun. Has spelling bee and boggle vibes. I secretly like it more than 4x3 but only because it takes longer. 4x3 would be fun as a 5x4 haha.

Just an example of some of the maps. It works better in the city when you have cool buildings around but it’s a good start!

It is fairly fun to have this little clanker around my screen. I do want to customize it though... #codex just run /pet to get it.

Ran a 10k after a morning t-ball game for Coop. Sushi for lunch and big family dinner tonight for my birthday. Can’t complain about any of this. 🎉

Spruced up my personal website... I don't know why I spent time on this other than it was fun. It's not perfect obviously but the idea of blog posts as emails was just too whimsical to ignore. Check out the junk folder if you visit!

There are 1000 app store screen creators but I thought I could make a really simple one for my really simple apps and the corner radius with the device outline is killing meeee

corner radius is coming outside of the device layer/mask

Oh no, another update. Letter Linker has a new daily puzzle feature. Minor update, but now the web version daily game matches the app version. 😌 #indiedev #ios #wordgame

Summer vs winter in roughly the same spot, central Oregon is the most relaxing place in the world for me. I love it.

Hopping in to say it’s pretty easy to set up a shortcut to do this.

Refactored the tab bar into an air hockey ui type of interaction for the app I made my kids. This way I can add more games. It’s fun for them when they get a little screen time #ios #swiftui #indiedev

Forgot to do my favorite books of 2025 and in the process found out I can export my Libby, audible, and kindle data then parse it into a nice little app. Love making little apps like this. Even if it doesn’t include my physical books, this is still pretty cool. #indiedev #ios #swiftui #books #libby

On our world tour of countries (every Christmas we choose a different country to try their cuisine), this year we drew Spain! So we have lots of tapas and seafood and tomatoes etc. Followed by Basque cheesecake. 🥳

I put out that little TestFlight link and 300 restaurants have been added so far. I don’t have any analytics that save restaurants or anything. Just the number. Kinda cool!

Just showing off copying a link and saving it to spotsavor. Get it? Saver but it’s food so savor. Come on. That’s a good pun. Also no network besides pulling html and address lookup. No accounts. No backend! Even sharing lists is just a string haha.

New absolutely unnecessary update to RunRev with some snow and a new Run Wrapped experience. If you run and wanna see some fun graphs and a year in review (any year with HealthKit information) of your running, then give it a chance. All free. No account necessary. #indie #indiedev #ios #running

Some people don’t get why I live in Oregon. I can explain it really easily. I’m 1 min from my house and this is what I can see. The other direction is a forest. You can’t tell me this isn’t worth it.
