This season's "blue of the month" is the new mythic Jace. It's exactly what you expected, a blue commander that passively draws cards. Control deck staple.

Seeing shitty art way more inspiring than seeing good art. Why be demoralized by the prodigious talent of another when you can be buoyed by the feeling that you can outcompete abject mediocrity?

I tried watching football this past weekend and the amount of ai advertising was fucking AWFUL. But the fact that there's this much money going into trying to make it look good and it's still failing is REALLY HECKIN' FUNNY

SUPER excited to start playing Pre-Fire at locals. I've got my old soul sisters deck built and wife's proxying the missing stuff from her living end deck. THIS is the magic I'm nostalgic for.

Re-watching "New Game!" reminds me of how much I'd like to make a story with my friends. Something small in scope, with simple drawings, voice acting, and easy editing. That'd be nice...yeah....

The Zeta set has a fun aesthetic which has inspired me to jazz up my own proxies in this style! But, to me, SL boosters of cards with art that's "glitched" photo-copy homages to OG play test cards, or even just actual Magic cards, feels very Hot Topic Punk Jacket with Pre-Sewn Anarchy Symbols.

Having fun sharing Sailor Moon with my wife. Very light and digestible compared to some of the other shows we've been watching. Also helping refuel my motivation to work on Knights of Crit.
