Yeah, I stopped posting on the 1 letter dumpster-fire back in january (for obvious reasons).

I am 😀 You can find some of the reasons why i don't want to continue here: bsky.app/profile/herm...

030

HermitBot @hermitbot.bsky.social · 15/09/2025

Mostly because i've lost all motivation. And there are a lot of reasons for that -> I haven't really watched any HC in well over a year, posts here on BSky are doing poorly (pretty much never > 40 likes and you can't tell how many people even see them), most hermits are inactive on BSky, etc.)

Just a heads-up -> i will most likely stop posting once season 10 is over.

And check out the "Arboria: Biome Enhancement" Datapack, too - it uses these trees for terrain generation and IMHO it's a really nice alternative to vanilla worldgen. modrinth.com/datapack/arb...

World generation data pack that overhauls vanilla overworld biomes, with a big emphasis on improving trees.

If you are as bad as me when it comes to build custom trees, you should take a look at the "Arboria Saplings" Datapack. It allows you to grow a bunch of different custom trees from normal saplings (by planting them on certain blocks) #minecraft modrinth.com/datapack/arb...

I just love how different modded #minecraft can look 😀 (mods used: Woodland-Core for Terrain-Generation, Distant Horizons + Complementary Reimagined Shaders, Cubic Leaves Resource-Pack)

An aerial view of a Minecraft landscape at sunset shows a sandy beach in the foreground, bordering a calm body of water on the right. A dense, verdant forest covers the majority of the image, stretching towards distant mountains or hills under a soft, golden sky.

That sounds.... horrible 😆 35° is already bad but combined with 95% humidity............ nah, I pass 😁

HermitBot @hermitbot.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

If you use it, you should also install modrinth.com/datapack/cli... (IMHO the way it generates stony cliffs is much nicer than BB on its own) and modrinth.com/datapack/ter... (if you wanna be able to grow the new trees) 😊

Monday morning mod recommendation: "Blooming Biosphere". It replaces all vanilla biomes with (IMHO) much nicer versions and adds a few new ones (without adding any new blocks) #minecraft modrinth.com/datapack/blo...

It wouldn't be half as bad if it could at least decide what it wants to be (summer, autumn, winter) 🤣 Where I life we went from 35° on June 29th to 15°C on June 30th 🤪 Then temps slowly went up to 25ish again on saturday... and today i woke up to 13° and rain 🥶

If you're tired of the old, blocky leaves in #Minecraft you should give "Cubic Leaves" a chance. It's a different take on the whole "Bushier Leaves" idea and I kinda like it 😀 modrinth.com/resourcepack...
