Ohh thank you! I was trying to find a rug that wasn't mirrored and the only one I found was the weird City Living food rug 😆

Does anyone have a tutorial for making pack objects BGC? I had to use a City Living rug to create some CC (the base game rugs mirrored texture, which I didn't want), but ideally I'd like the CC to be available to people without the pack, too... I can only find tutorials for converting CAS!

The colours are so nice here, and it works so well for the snowy scenes... makes the place feel soft and gentle. I can imagine all the city sounds kinda muted.

Everything will be publicly available after the event so I can post pictures then 😍

Current first world problem is that I've taken so many great shots of Sax lately but I can't share any of them, as they feature my Simblreen treats 🥲 (yes I'll be taking part in that over on Tumblr this year! Animations & posepacks will be up for grabs).

JRR Tolkien: You paint that picture of the key scene from the Two Towers where Frodo and Sam fight Gollum? Donato Giancola: Sure did, Ron, real fuckin' sexy just like you asked. JRRT: What.

the only non-negotiable for writing is you have to read. doesn't matter if you're writing comics, prose, screenplays. read. read books, articles, scripts, comics. fiction and non-fiction. read lots of 'em and never stop reading.

It is absolutely some joke of the universe I think 😂 No matter how many times you check something, typos or spelling errors remain undetected until you commit & post/print it whereupon you will instantly see your mistake 😂

If they didn't want to be covered in blood then they shouldn't look so good while covered in blood

Turned my computer on just to buy some tights lmao because I got sent a code & I've been wanting more particoloured ones (I like that they look like medieval hosen)... except the website is borked so I gave up in a sulk. While I'm here, some story scenes instead 🥴

A room in a castle showing a Sim seated behind a desk with his arms crossed, while another walks towards the door.

A royal castle bedchamber, lit only by the fireplace. Fen is sitting up in bed while Sax sits on a chair next to him.

Another scene of the bedchamber, this time taken from the opposite direction. It's dimly lit and we can see through the windows that the sun is setting.

Still alive! I got logged out of the app & have just been busy tbh. I really liked this shot of Sax & Fen, it felt very Them. I don't usually do gameplay in my story save but they did this as soon as I loaded in 😆

A Sims 4 screenshot showing Sax, a vampire, hissing in the foreground while Fen, a regular Sim, makes the shape of a heart with his fingers in the background.

I've been using Affinity suite as InDesign & Illustrator alternatives for a few years, BUT they were recently bought out by Canva & I'm not sure how good they are now (I still own the old programs that I paid for)—there is a free version available but Canva like subscriptions. Maybe worth checking!

I was wondering the same! I've been seeing her posts on Tumblr but only for the last couple days, suddenly realised i hadn't seen her on here in a while.

Bog @herecirm.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

I would take Sax & Fen to all the local castles, and see if they could point out interesting facts and details that only someone who's actually lived in a castle could tell me. 😌😂
