#Heraldecember2025 22 | Mandarin I wound up down a rabbithole reading about citrus breeds, which reminds me of quartered crests for royal family trees. So this is the lemon's lineage: a pomelo and a mandarin orange make a bitter orange, which is then crossed with a citron. #heraldry #heraldecember

The mantling over the lefthand face matches the lion's colors and the other's matches the rat's. Above the heads sits a signpost with arrows pointing in opposite directions.
