Good ClickHouse meetup at Mentimeter in Stockholm last night. At least 80 people braved the rain to listen to talks on using ClickHouse. Our CTO at Nordic Growth Market, Mikael Brännström, presented lessons learned from our migration from Drill to ClickHouse.

I just tested Pangram - the service to detect AI writing (I heard about it on a recent episode of Hard Fork). I put the first two sections from my most recent blog post in, and it got a 100% human-written score. Then I put the same text into Claude, and asked it to paraphrase. That got 47% AI.

I recently came across a very insightful article on AI versus human expertise, written by Dan Shipper. The key insight is that AI needs a human to define what it should do. This is the frame. Within this frame, the capabilities of the AI can be optimized so it does a very good job.

I really like the idea that the first and last 10% of any AI-assisted task are yours. You decide what should be done, and you review and evaluate the result too. The AI tool does the middle 80%. Well worth reading: spin.atomicobject.com/lessons-year...
