For a while Sitting Bull’s band lived peacefully among plenty of buffalo in what is now Saskatchewan. But the young braves grew restless and made trouble with neighboring tribes. His band dwindled to just 187 people and in 1877 Sitting Bull was compelled to surrender and move to a reservation. /3
