character type that drives me insane every time: massive ego + zero self-worth. "my intellect and abilities are unmatched" + "it doesn't matter if I die." "I am, without a doubt, the perfect object" type of deal. people who take a sick joy in actively pushing wildly beyond their limits because no one else can operate this well while in this much pain. "go on, hurt me if you want. please do, actually. then I'll really get to show off."

When Lahabrea asked "What ARE you?!" That was the first time anyone asked us that, and...honestly, after all these years, genuinely: What even IS the Warrior of Light? I know mine is too afraid of herself to do any serious introspection now.

I have been told to tell the history of Ishgard. Well first. Imagine Dragons.

Please do not encourage the youth to steal candy. I have more than enough to give if they but ask. They need not 'attempt to sneak in like Sir Estinien' to get any.

I thought Stasia and Stephanivien would work, but then I realized she would get forced back into the life of nobility that stifled and scarred her when she was younger. They're great friends, though! Leofard and Keshkwa were also possibilities, but the vibe just isn't there.

Storm and Cid's height difference is comical. Honestly.

No, the knights are not going 'sicko mode' on 'the slopes'. They are engaging in shield sledding. Which, off record, I still hold record for the most time spent aloft.

Considering her name is Storm Dancer, gods yes, she loves to dance. The more lively, the better!

Ooooh I need to take shots of Storm's All Saints costume. Pity Stasia doesn't have one. Yet.

Designated Floortank @hellsguardian.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Considering Storm is 7'5 to Cid's 5'10, that would be uh, mildly alarming. Poor Cid would absolutely get squashed. If Stasia plunked herself into Thancred’s lap, SO MANY people would be cashing in years-long bets.

Storm is a giant teddy bear. However, her sheer size can make her very intimidating. Stasia? Yeah, I'd consider her to be likable, but be patient. She does not trust easily.

Ran a poll on Patreon for the artwork of last month and HOARY BOULDER MY GOAT WON (the one who wins most is me. I am winning. I love this guy and Coultenet) #ffxiv

A polaroid style painting of FFXIV Hoary Boulder: a red headed roegadyn in plated armor, and Coulenet: a blond elezen mage with a big pointy hat and green robe. On the bottom is written "Adventure" and "HB & C" in Eorzean

The steamroller in Roger Rabbit. I cannot watch that movie again. Absolutely not. My damn parents made me watch it as a little kid and I am literally scarred for life. I can't even handle looking at real steamrollers.

Hey y'all, reminder that all of my screenshots are vanilla. What you see of my characters here is exactly how they'd look if you met them in-game. Well, I mean, I like the Bright 4 setting in Gpose, but that's still vanilla.

Yes. Yes, Storm absolutely does. Given her scarred right side, she may not always think so, but YES, SHE DOES.

Designated Floortank @hellsguardian.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Storm is right-handed, and has a prosthetic. Stasia is also righty but can do many things ambidextrously.

TLDR: Stasia is a blood elf (yes, from WoW), and is basically an aether sponge. Eitherys, especially Eorzea, is aether-dense. No one knew how well Stasia's body could handle the surfeit, so Stephanivien to the rescue. I put a ton of thought into this problem. Ha.

Designated Floortank @hellsguardian.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

It's my theory that the majority of Dragoons have a dragon that was their reason for joining. Estinien’s was Nidhogg. Storm's was Bahamut. Stasia became a Machinist because Stephanivien made her a unique aetherometer to bleed off the aether she wasn't using. Letter limit AGH

Portrait of Fordola Lupis, from Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. She is pissed, one half of her face lit up enough to see her tattoos and her displeased expression, the other completely in shadow, mismatched glowing eye breaking through the dark.
