Measuring the bars today the range appears to be 4C-15C and since nowhere hit 15C last week it must be the next 7 days - doesn't say when, so it might hit 15C next Friday, or tomorrow, or maybe not at all if the forecast changes.

The old rainfall radar on mobile in landscape. The old app adapted itself to screen orientation. The new app will struggle here - mobile isn't a small web browser. The UX people appear not to treat mobile screen space as a limited resource, hence the massive increase in scrolling required

A short self-guided tour of the Icelandic Westfjords. Not the most species-rich country, but Iceland makes up for it in the sheer numbers of birds present. Great to see our winter visitors and passage migrants on their breeding grounds.

Not the best way to get a garden tick. A Tawny Owl, slightly stunned after flying into a window (despite UV reflectors). Thankfully, just after I took this picture, it came round and flew off, apparently unharmed🤞. #cambirds

A leucistic Starling (aka "White Tail") has been visiting our garden for over a year now - first seen in December 2023. Currently a daily visitor for at least the last month.
