Hellengomes @hellengo.bsky.social · 8hIKR 🥹 i think if the Concept Movie (2015) wasn't delayed so they(the franchise) could focus on Magia Record the movie would have been different, from what is known about the plot seemed to be different and it seemed to be a lot more MadoHomu focused, which seemed great imo and it would fit better 110
Hellengomes @hellengo.bsky.social · 8hYeah i heard about that too, it worries me because they don't seem to focus on the original quintet + Nagisa which already had so little screentime in Rebellion 110
Hellengomes @hellengo.bsky.social · 8hYeah same, i worried for years on how they would balance the Holy Quintet +Nagisa in the new movie so after seeing those new girls appear in the trailers it made me worry much more 010
Reposted by HellengomesHomura★Maika @homuramajka.bsky.social · 8hI've heard they will get a lot of focus and the movie is lore-centric.. That's not what fits as the Rebellion sequel imo. They should keep it the Holy Quintet centric and bring a proper resolution and closure of the MadoHomu conflict. Can a single MadoMagi story not involve ambiguity? 311

Hellengomes @hellengo.bsky.social · 9hBut from what i keep hearing about that doesn't seem to be the case, it would balance Rebellion (Homura POV focused), with the new movie being also Madoka focused (but i still have to see the movie and how they handle those things), but something that worried me is that they added more characters... 110
Hellengomes @hellengo.bsky.social · 9hThat's why i love her character song: "See You Tomorrow", it gives a more insight on how she actually feels after her wish in the series finale, something Homura is able to understand in Rebellion and thus making the "rebellious" choice at the end. I do wish the new movie focused on Madoka's pov... 110

But no matter how I look at it, I can't see selfishness in Homura's actions and major goals. They're both on equal standing regarding "selfish/ selfless". 121
