I worked on XDefiant for a year and a half as a contracted QA, directly inside of Ubisoft's San Francisco studio. My contract ended in October, but today's news is still so depressing. My heart goes out to the passionate and talented dev team. My industry has been so heartbreaking lately. :(

A key asymmetry of this era of American politics and how it’s covered is that Trump is expected to do bad and corrupt things, so when he does it barely qualifies as news. But Dems are expected to be beyond reproach, so anything that seems even slightly suspect is a huge scandal.

#Arcane Should Warwick's in-game name be changed to Vander? I assume changing any related in-game text would be easy. Getting rid of audio references might be hard, but I can't think of anyone who says "Warwick" aloud. Also it would be hilarious if they revealed his full name is "Vander Warwick"

One time I dropped a piece of bread in a patch of dirt. I threw it away and my OPINIONATED grandpa scolded me for tossing it. I said there was bacteria. His response: "Ross, how big are bacteria?" He was implying the bread would have crushed the bacteria and it would've been fine. 🙄

Social media is dangerous when something comes out and I don't want to get spoiled. I have to prioritize time to consume the media myself asap, and I do my best to avoid social media entirely before then. Kinda sucks but I feel like that's just what the world is now with social media.
