Here’s what I think the result of today’s German elections will be. CDU/CSU: 27.7% AFD: 22.8% SPD: 14.1% Greens: 11.8% Linke (Left): 8.7% Others(FDP, BSW, FDP etc.): 14.9% And I wouldn’t be surprised if Die Linke got even more votes. (1/3)

Public :: Public Administration in a Dangerous Age
It was not so long ago that statesmen and intellectuals in many countries thought they had found the perfect strategy for governing well. Today we know better. We have realized that there is no fixed strategy for governing in turbulent times. Scholars in public administration must keep this reality in mind as we conduct our research. We need a better understanding of the processes by which high-level strategies for governing are designed and translated into programs of state reform.

I’m not sure that I totally agree, but this is an important discussion. Clearly environmentalism needs an upgrade. Environmentalism in 2024 is not the same as environmentalism in 1978, 1986, 1992 or 2019. It needs to adapt and change its strategy.
